Shoshana is a seasoned leadership development specialist, senior leader, professional coach and relational somatic therapist. She holds a master’s degree in Human Systems Intervention and a collection of certifications in a variety of modalities, assessments, and tools. Several years ago, after many years as a leadership development coach and consultant, Shoshana expanded her skills and practice to include counselling therapy – identifying a need for a trauma-informed approach to her work, and a yearning to bridge the artificial divide between our personal and professional selves.
Guided by a deep belief in connection as the foundation of all our relationships – with ourselves, with each other, and with the earth we steward – Shoshana is always looking for the threads that connect us. She is passionate about creating a better world for the next generation and committed to decolonizing herself and her practice, and to supporting others to do the same. With an active commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, she is continuously seeking to uncover her own unconscious biases and unearned privileges, in order to create and hold safe, brave, and accountable spaces for her clients and community.
Shoshana is a fat, queer, disabled, white settler, with rainbow hair and an audacious sense of humour, living with gratitude on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish nations: sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xwməθ kwəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations. When not coaching, counselling, or leading, you can find her deep in Lego and battles of good and evil (ie Rebels & the Empire) with her six-year-old, singing and dancing her heart out, or finding adventures big and small with her partner.
